Daredevil star Charlie Cox says he won't be in any Avengers movies: "Marvel have been clear with me"
He's focused on Born Again… for now
It seems like we'll be waiting a while for Daredevil star Charlie Cox to return to movies in the MCU. In a new interview, the actor says that Marvel has been clear with him that he's sticking to his Disney Plus show for now.
Speaking to Josh Horowitz for the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Cox was asked about the potential of teaming up with more MCU stars in Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars, after his cameos in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk. "Marvel have been clear with me for now at least that I'm focusing on the show, that's our focus," he replied. "That really is the truth."
Cox went on to add that the potential is there in the future, but didn't confirm any appearances. "It's one of the things that obviously the fans of the MCU love it, when the characters clash. So we'll see, but right now I'm certainly focusing on the show."

He didn't reveal anything about what fans can expect in the new series, even after that pretty huge leak from Mike Colter. However, the Matt Murdock actor says he wants to keep playing the character for as long as possible.
"Charles Soule, who is a wonderful comic book writer, just released a new Daredevil run called A Cold Day in Hell, in which I think Matt Murdock is in his late 60s, 70s. Charles sent it to me and I read it and I like, 'It's so wonderful, so beautiful. Well, there you go, that buys me another 20 years.'"
