Somehow I've managed to be one of the three people who never played this (although I saw a friend playing it for about 5 minutes). I still have my Gamecube, I have access to a Wii, and I know there is PC version I can run, but I think this will be the version to get.

If that's the case then I'm envious, enjoy!

I'd actually go with the Wii version. It won't have the semi-upscaled graphics, but it does come with legitimately great pointer controls, which make the analog setup clunky by comparison.

I am person number two who has never played this game.

Having bought this on GC, PS2, Wii, and PC, I'll definitely pass, especially since I found over 7GB of HD skins and conversions for the PC version. They don't make it look like RE5, but it looks a LOT better than this HD version they're charging 20 bucks for.

Well thats sad..I was hoping for more from such a loved game. Guess I better wait for Black to remade in HD.

I have this on GameCube and the Wii, I will pass on this one. If you haven't played this, buy it now!

It's disappointing to hear that Capcom didn't give this re-release the same care and attention it has for its other downloadable titles, especially when their Street Fighter games look so polished and modern. Still, having not played this game until after I bought my PS3, the comparison between the current-gen games and previous-gen games didn't bother me then, and I highly doubt it will now. Here's my money, ya jerks.

Wait... the game was harder/ easier on the gamecube? ive only played that version so i cant really tell..
  • Unoriginal - September 20, 2011 5:17 p.m.

Already have this for PS2, Wii and my phone, I think I'll stop buying this game.

Resident Evil 4 is one of my favourite games, but I really don't think I need to buy it again if there's no new content and the HD isn't done right. Thanks for the heads-up.
