I'd have to say either the original Mario Party or Diablo II. Playing the pain inducing 3 on 1 boat thingy pissed me off more than anything because I had the entire inside of my palm ripped out and I couldn't bear to watch my character get his ass speared and lose my hard earned coins. Diablo is my other choice since I was in a hardcore ladder when I was like twelve and I had a character around the 50s or 60s and died losing irrevocable hours of grinding, which to my twelve year old self meant the world. Probably the first time in my life I yelled **** as loud as possible without caring which family members heard.

Playing FF7, I am in the mountains outside cloud's hometown. I finally reach the outside of the reactor, and then a Dragon appears. I was out of potion, and he attacked Aeris first. I quit playing for 2 days.

When I played through Culdcept Saga for 360. Maybe it is just me, but the AI in that game sucks, so the game makes up for that by cheating. The AI will almost always role the perfect die that get's them in between all your creature monster things, they will always have the perfect cards to off-set anything you have, and any kinda trap you set will always be passed by. Another problem is that the AI isn't too bad until you start to take a significant lead and then it kicks in and loads the dice. And the worst part is that I went into this game not knowing anything about, IDK what to call it, battle card collection genre. This is a game where you have to like what it does and fast or you won't get into it that much if at all.
Most battles take an hour at least, the longest battle I had took almost 5 hours, and I lost. Had to replay it. I had to buy a new T.V. because I punched a hole in it.
Not really, but you believed me, I did have to buy a new controller and a new copy of the game however. I didn't care how much money I needed to pay, I snapped the disc in half after the 5 hour battle I lost in because the AI rolled 8 FIVE times in a row which made it beat me back to the "go" point to win; I then stuck the disc in my pants for a standing t-bag.
;_; I will never be the same person after that match of virtual cards.

Lion King for the the Genesis. That goddamn log/waterfall part got me so many times. I would breeze through the game and hit that waterfall, lose the jumping rhythm or the logs wouldn't fall like I needed them to, and when I lost my last life, just slam the power button and not look at the Genesis for a couple days. Maddest I've ever gotten at a game.
I've never even thrown a controller, though, as far as I can remember.
Add'l edit: Speaking of Lion King, the very brief opening to last week's E3 podcast cause a nostalgia-bubble to pop and blow out my eardrum. Metaphorically, though.

Well...
I was playing Star Fox Assault for gamecube, and I was on the Final boss.
The final final final boss, because you have to kill it four times to get to it's last form. anyway, I was on the final form of the aparoid queen, ready to save all the muppets in the universe, and I have almost killed it. This thing shoots out these spinning space robot flies at me which I quickly dodge out of the way of. I am on my last speck of health, but so is she. I shoot out a bomb to send this thing straight to hell and... BAM! It's dead, but while it is exploding, I get hit with something, lose control of my arwing, and die. THOSE SPINNING SPACE ROBOT BEETLE THINGS HOMED IN ON ME FROM BEHIND! I opened the disc drive of my gamecube and HIT IT WITH MY HANDS OVER AND OVER! Just thinking about it makes me mad...

So many stories on this topic....
for starters, the day I bought guitar hero my ps2 broke, very angry. My gh3 disk becoming unreadable during the last few notes of TTFAF on expert. Missing the last note on "violet hill" when i was only a few points away from the high score(worldwide, now im like in 10,0000000000 place). And thats only one game. Also, mega man 9 was pretty frustrating and ninja gaiden.

the maddest i have ever gotten was at my friends copy of dead to rights for the xbox. That stupid jail minigame where you have to keep f******g tapping A. and if you dont get it right, you dont get to advance.
Well i had to repay my buddy for his broken copy of dead to rights, and my dad wasnt too happy about taking me to the hospital for the broken finger i got from punching my wall.
By the way my walls are made of 6 inch thick wood planks, it wasnt fun. Damn that stupid game in its stupid face. Shadow is still cool, though.
Looking forward to the new one!

Playing Prince of Persia, I couldn't get past this one part that involved dogs. After throwing my controller across the room, I vowed to never play the game again and chalked it up to the fact that muslims hate dogs.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the game it was just brutally hard for me. I got to the 4th boos and could never get past his level. I through my controller across the room, but it didn't break.

Playing CoD 4 on veteran... I am STILL stuck on On Shot One Kill when you have to fend off the Russians while waiting for the helicopters to come in. I tried over an over again for 4 hours and never once lasted long enough to even see my would be rescuers. After being killed for the hundredth time I threw my 360 wireless controller. Luckily it didn't break the entire controller, just the battery casing, and I didn't find the second AA until I moved out of that apartment.

I'd have to say after I bought Rise of the Argonauts. It was potentially the biggest waste of 60 bucks in my life besides that hooker from Des Moines. It was so bad I got angry that I actually bought it so i threw my controller and broke so I had to buy a new one. So I essentially paid 100 dollars for that shitty game and 6 hours of my life.

fighting seth in SFIV
I took my anger out on a guitar hero III case. I completely tore it apart. I broke the plastic into little bits, and shredded the manual. Fortunately the game disc happened to not be in the case. I don't think I would've constrained myself.

with a doubt the hardest game i've ever played is ninja gaiden 2
every boss in that game made we want to strangle myself with the cord from my controller
then theres an achievement in the game that you get when you die 100 times
and i was like "wow, sweet achievement"

CShart, I feel your pain about that stupid ******* game, goddamn Chocoboes. But mine will always be what happen to me and Chrono Trigger.
BTW, I have never told ANYONE this story.
Firstly, though I love J-RPGs, I don't have a heart to actually put my feelings into a game. Chrono Trigger is a game that had my heart. I was playing through, and got to Zeal without any problem. BUT THAT ******* TWO ARM BASTARD whooped my ass over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, AND ******* OVER!! This is how much that part pisses me off, the first time I played it on the SNES, I broke my system. I played the ROM, deleted it and lost my voice yelling at the computer. I BOUGHT IT FOR THE DS AND TRADED THE GAME AND SYSTEM!!!! I just that one ******* part.

oh man which one do i pick? the first instance of my being pissed breaking something was when i got mad at something on NES, i can't remember what game it was, and i heel dropped my NES (like in office space). From then on i had to put a VCR remote in the top to hold the game down. One time when playing mike tyson boxing on sega with my dad i got so mad that he was beating me that i kicked him in the arm and gave him a really bad charlie horse and he wouldn't play with me anymore after that. On ps1 after smashing my DS1 into the floor enough times to break the left hand grip open i later got so mad that i couldn't beat demons gate in FF7 that i pounded it into the carpet hard enough to knock one of the spinny make-rumble things out of the now open left hand grip. still worked though. One time whilst playing GT4 with a friend of mine we were setting laps in a car we had built on deep forest and he finally hit a time that i couldn't match. I drove probably 300 laps around that ******* track chasing only inches behind that stupid ghost of his but i could never catch it so i just got fed up and threw my DS2 at the floor and all of the shoulder buttons flew off. Most recently i was playing killzone 2 on elite mode and i was doing that first tank mission in the beginning. That stupid tank is so hard to turn and i could not for the life of me get it out of the way of these rockets and it was 1 hit kill every time. i got so pissed i threw my controller across the room and when it hit the wall it just exploded. busted apart at the seams, all the shoulder buttons flew out. that thing was toast. I've tried to be a lot less of a raging lunatic since then, those things are expensive haha.
