Destiny 2 Dawning recipes and their ingredients make a comeback for another annual winter holiday event. You've got until January 4, 2022, to craft delicious baked treats and gift them to complete quests and bounties, earn rewards, and spread holiday cheer. The Destiny 2 Dawning 2021 event works almost exactly like previous years, with a few small additions such as new quests based on what's happened in the last year, although the main loop is still the same: collect ingredients, bake recipes, gift cookies. Here's what you need to know about the Dawning 2021 in Destiny 2, including every recipe and who to give it to, and every ingredient and how to get them.

To bake each of these Destiny 2 Dawning recipes, you need to make sure you have Eva's Holiday Oven, which you'll get as part of the Dawning 2021 introduction quest. Once you've got the oven and a few of the ingredients listed below, open up the Director, navigate to the 'Quests' tab, and inspect the oven. You can now slot the ingredients listed below into the oven to bake a recipe.

You'll notice that each of the recipes is some combination of one Uncommon ingredient, which are obtained from defeating enemies, one Rare ingredient, which are awarded for defeating any enemy in a particular way, and some Essence of Dawning.

Each recipe you successfully bake becomes permanently unlocked, allowing you to more easily bake it each time. Once you've bake one of each recipe, you can Masterwork the Holiday Oven to reduce the Essence of Dawning cost when baking treats.

For each Dawning dessert you deliver, you'll receive a small gift in return. Eva also has weekly and daily bounties that require you to deliver Dawning treats, so make sure you're always picking up some of those daily repeatable ones to maximize your rewards.
