Avoid Nintendo's eShop until you've seen Newegg's current gift card combo
Score $20 eShop credit for free
Newegg's pretty good with its gift cards. More than any other retailer, this is the store I see offering discounts on digital currency the most, and we've just been blessed with one of the largest savings I've seen so far.
It's a shame this discount is landing a day after Ninty wrapped up its 'Spotlight Sale', but if you missed out then you're in luck today. The combo drops two $50 Nintendo eShop gift cards down to just $80.50, netting you the full $100 of digital credit for just under $20 off. Before you go buying anything on the Switch (or Switch 2's) storefront, this is the offer you need to clock. Last time I saw Newegg with a similar offer, we were only talking $6 off a $50 card.
Just note that you'll need to be redeeming the gift cards against a US Nintendo account, and you'll receive the full $100 funds in the form of two separate card codes.
Newegg is bundling up twoc $50 Nintendo eShop gift cards and knocking just under $20 off the price right now. That means you can grab $100 worth of credit and only pay $80.50 - essentially $20 off any game you choose.
Once you've got your code, all you need to do is head to the Nintendo eShop from your console and select "Enter code" from within the digital storefront. You'll then see the credit applied to your account.

What's on the eShop at the moment?
Wondering what to spend your booty on?
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is still sitting pretty at the top of the pack, or you can lock in your savings for a Splatoon Raiders pre-order or Yoshi and the Mysterious Book pre-order. Of course, there also plenty of discounts to help you double down on your savings as well.
A bunch of first party titles are down to $46.99 for download, including Luigi's Mansion 3, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Super Mario Party Jamboree. In the cheaper seats you'll find the XCOM 2 Collection for $9.99 - perfect if you're brushing up before the XCOM miniature game hits the scene. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is also sticking around at $9.99, and my personal problem favorite Balatro is down to $19.99 right now as well.
We're rounding up all the best Nintendo Switch deals for more console savings, or check out the best Nintendo Switch 2 accessories if you're kitting out a newer handheld.
