Second Star Wars Anthology film could feature Boba Fett and Han Solo

While it has been rumoured for some time now that the second Star Wars Anthology will concern itself with the origins of Boba Fett, Schmoe Know is reporting an interesting twist on that story, namely that Han Solo will also be a key player in the forthcoming film.

According to the report, the film will concern itself with the long-standing rivalry between the two characters, a dynamic that was only hinted at in the original trilogy. The suggestion is that the film will have a strong Western vibe, and will be packed to the gills with mercenaries, outlaws and various other troublemakers…

As to who might be directing the film now that Josh Trank is no longer on board, the report claims that Jon Favreau and Matthew Vaughn are both in Disney’s sights as potential replacements. The project is set to arrive in US cinemas in May 2018, with an exact date to be confirmed.
