Motorstorm Apocalypse Live: A night of competitive booze-fuelled gaming. Caught on camera

We ran a Motorstorm Apocalypse competition on the site recently. The winner was up for a trip to this year's E3 in Los Angeles, a 3D Bravia TV and a bunch of Sony games. So it was kind of a big deal. However, winning all that stuff wasn't going to be easy. It would mean competing in Motorstorm Apocalypse Live - an event that tested the skills of even the most very skilled gamer. It took place recently in a sort of disused underground car park somewhere in London.

These were the four brave warriors (ie competition winners) that went forth and battled for the honour of GamesRadar against FHM, IGN and Eurogamer:

GamesRadar's Matt Cundy and Nathan Irvine were also in attendance, with Cundy racing against the rival editors. So how was it? It was loud. It was strobey. It was mental. It went off. There was a free bar serving Red Bull and vodka like it was water from a tap. Things got messy. To find out what happened, have a watch of this:

Big thanks to everyone that took part or that came along to support GamesRadar. And to help drink the free booze. Good times.
