The Fortnite Week 3 challenges have arrived, following a brief period of downtime which has seen another big overhaul of the island in the name of the Marvel crossover. A huge swathe of land to the northeast has been replaced with Stark Industries, obliterating Frenzy Farm which stood there before, and you'll need to explore this area for at least one of this week's Fortnite challenges. Of course, we still have some of the standard fare we'd expect, so as per usual you'll be searching chests and eliminating opponents. However, if you're looking for help with any of the other tasks in Fortnite, then we've got the details for how to deal damage with exploding gas, eliminate Iron Man, and everything else in the Fortnite Week 3 challenges.

  • Visit Panther's Prowl (1)
  • Deal damage with exploding Gas Pumps or Gas Cans (250)

  • Eliminate Iron Man at Stark Industries [Rec: 4 Players] (3)

Here's some further information about how to complete all seven of these Fortnite Week 3 challenges in Season 4:

Search Chests at Steamy Stacks (7)

There are plenty of chests to be found over at Steamy Stacks in the northeast corner of the island, so search through the various buildings and rack them up.

Eliminations at Retail Row (3)

Retail Row towards the southeast is a popular landing spot for players, so if you head there you're reasonably likely to run into opponents. If you're not having much luck getting eliminations in this area, play Team Rumble until the circle closes around here to make things much easier.

Collect Wood from Weeping Woods (500)

Unsurprisingly there's a huge number of trees available in Weeping Woods to the southwest, so get chopping them and hit those weak points to increase the amount of wood you collect. If you attempt this in Team Rumble mode you'll be done quicker as you harvest more mats in that mode.

Visit Panther's Prowl (1)

You'll find Fortnite Panther's Prowl in the hills to the south of the island, and you just need to visit this Black Panther monument for it to count.

Deal damage with exploding Gas Pumps or Gas Cans (250)

It's easier to attempt this using gas cans, as they're portable and don't rely on opponents being near Fortnite gas pumps, though you'll often find them in the same areas or generally as floor loot. Throw the gas can near an enemy, then shoot it a few times to detonate it and deal damage. We've confirmed this will also count against NPCs such as Stark Robots found at Fortnite Quinjet Patrol landing sites, or Henchmen around Doom's Domain or Stark Industries, which might be easier than pinning down human opponents with a blast.

Place Fire Traps (3)

Fire traps are a recently added damage trap item, which you'll generally find around in chests or as floor loot, so make sure you place any that you pick up to work towards this target.

Eliminate Iron Man at Stark Industries (3)

Stark Industries has appeared as a new named location within the large circular area teleported into the northeast sector of the island, so head there then look out for Iron Man himself and take him down. As with Doctor Doom in the earlier challenge, Tony Stark won't go down without a fight, so make sure you're well armed and keep moving when you go up against him.
