I don't have the energy to really hate anything properly. Most things I think are OK or inoffensively average. I do love quite a lot of stuff as well, though.

The arrival of new hardware is always exciting. Even if it is just a super-sized version of hardware we've already got. Like Nintendo's 3DS XL. It's exactly the same as a regular 3DS, only it's BIGGER. And it has arrived in the office and we are excited about it. Because it's new. And it's bigger.

To celebrate the exciting delivery of Nintendo's spanking new and shiny and heftier handheld, we thought a photo shoot was in order. A special swimsuit photo shoot. We couldn't afford proper models because they're expensive, so we had to settle for the next best thing. Hope you don't mind. The pictures have turned out nice - they show off the 3DS XL lovely. So that's good. Please enjoy them.

We'll have more on Nintendo's 3DS XL in the run up to the machine's launch (July 28 in Europe, August 19 in US). In the meantime, feel free to view our 3DS XL unboxing video and inform your brain with all the facts on Nintendo's new handheld.
