It's always amazing to see some of the best gaming chairs go on offer during the holiday period. Gaming seats are expensive after all, and any chance folks get to buy a throne for themselves without overspending is amazing. That said, navigating Black Friday gaming chair deals can be a bit of a maze if you don't know what to look for.

Getting to know the kind of chair you need is going to be instrumental to making the most of this year's sale, particularly if you're after the best value for money. Before you get the tape measure out, though, it's worth taking a top-down look at some of the best gaming chairs on the market so that you know what to expect.

We've had our rears in plenty of cushions this year, but we've also been tracking their prices all year round. That means we know what a good chair does and how much a good deal will set you back. Thankfully, the biggest savings are usually reserved for Black Friday. If you're not sure which gaming chair you should buy in this year's sales, we're here to help.

Which gaming chair should you buy on Black Friday?

Fractal Refine

Best for: Overall comfort and ergonomics

Seat depth: 16-18 inches (Fabric), 17-19 inches (Mesh) | Seat width: 17-inches | Height: 18 - 23-inches | Max weight: 275 lbs

$499.99 at Walmart
$599.99 at Amazon
$599.99 at Amazon
$599.99 at Amazon
Good range of cosmetic, mesh, and fabric options
Excellent armrests
Nice mix of comfort and ergonomics
Stunning looks
Ability to slide into a deeper sitting position
A minimalist approach means there isn’t much cushioning
Armrests can slide out of position too easily
Adjusting controls could be better

Regular price: From £474 / $549
Expected Black Friday price: From £429 / $500

The Fractal Refine is a brand new gaming chair that was released around the end of summer 2024, and it's recently become our pick for the best overall gaming chair. It combines some innovative features with a lot of style, and although it's still brand new, we're hopeful that a Black Friday discount may arrive for it.

It's not all that common that brand-new chairs get discounts during Black Friday, but since this is Fractal Design's first-ever gaming chair, it may want to make more of a name for itself this deals season by getting scrappy with the competition.

The minimalist style of this chair is distinct, but also lends itself to the fact that this brand allows for mesh and fabric versions of the same chair - something I haven't seen from any other brand. Usually, you need to pay more for mesh, which makes no sense at all. Still, regardless of what upholstery you go for, Fractal has made an adjustable chair that can cater to lots of different body types and is plenty comfy while encouraging great posture.

Corsair TC100 Relaxed review image

Corsair TC100 Relaxed

Best for: value for money

Seat depth: 38cm | Seat width: 54cm | Height: 188cm | Max weight: 264 lbs

$213.63 at Best Buy
$229.99 at Amazon
$229.99 at CORSAIR
$251.15 at Walmart
Comfortable, plush cushioning
Competitive price
Great armrests
Limited design options
Lumbar support is a little firm
Casters feel a bit rigid

Regular price: From $249.99 / £199.99
Expected Black Friday price: From $199 / £159.99

The Corsair TC100 Relaxed takes a lot of the best features from expensive gaming chair models and brings them down to a price that's a lot more reasonable. The adjustability here is fantastic, and the level of comfort is excellent for a chair that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Since this is a great value option that is never that far away from our "best budget" award, this is certainly one to look out for this Black Friday. The cushioning, in particular, is really strong and has a sort of springy action when you fall into it. The neck cushion is a little tough, but on the whole, this seat provides plush cushioning without compromising on the ergonomic support your posture can benefit from.

This chair can be had in a fabric or leather material, although only comes in black or grey which is a real shame. If this had more cosmetic options, it'd be a shoo-in for a lot more gamers. That said, flashy cosmetics aren't for everyone - if you need something a bit more reserved for professional video meetings, for example, this is a solid option.

Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 review

SecretLab Titan Evo 2022

Best for: Those looking for a premium chair with lots of design choices

Seat depth (S/R/XL): 18.9"/19.3"/19.7" | Seat width (S/R/XL): 17.7"/18.5"/19.3" | Height (S/R/XL): 50-52.8"/51.2-54"/53.1-56.9" | Max weight (lbs): 285/285/395

$549 at Secretlab
$669 at Amazon

Magnetic headrest
High build quality
Plenty of lumbar support customization
No memory foam lumbar cushion

Regular price: From $499 / £469
Expected Black Friday price: From $399 / £349

If you're after the best build quality above all else, we would recommend keeping an eye on SecretLab's Black Friday deals. The Titan Evo is a very popular pick among gamers thanks to its robust build quality and huge range of licensed designs. It now comes with a new Nanogen cushioning and comes in a lighter (and more affordable) Lite model. Also released this year is a new ergonomic recliner, so we're hoping all these new products will mean big Black Friday discounts.

Crucially, the Titan Evo comes in a range of sizes now, from small to extra large which means you'll be able to find the right fit for you straight off the bat. The small is recommended for those under 5'6" and 200lbs, with the regular designed to fit 5'7"-6'2" at under 220lbs, and the XL for 5'11"-6'9" at 175-395lbs.

Not only are you getting a high-quality seat here, but Black Friday is also the best time to buy a SecretLab gaming chair. In previous years, we've seen $100 / £70 off these models, and although last year's deals weren't the best, we're hoping 2024 will provide for us.

Razer Iskur V2 chair in an office space beside a desk, keyboard, monitor, and mouse

Razer Iskur V2

Best for: Those looking for lumbar support

Length: 23.6in (60cm) | Width: 25.2in (64cm) | Height: 50.4in - 54.3in (128cm - 138cm) | Max weight: 299lbs (136kg)

Check Amazon
Check Walmart
Classic Razer design
Comfortable
A lower price point than previous models
Expensive when not on sale

Regular price: $649 / £599
Expected Black Friday price:
$600 / £549

Razer's latest gaming chair joined our best gaming chair list earlier in the year, and it won its place thanks to its amazing lumbar support. It's pricey, launching above Secretlab's MSRP, and for that reason, we're hoping it gets a generous discount for its first Black Friday.

That said, if it doesn't see the $50/£50 discount we're hoping for, that doesn't mean you shouldn't consider it if your budget allows. If its discounted price tag is still too much for you, check out the slightly older Razer Iskur X, and the Razer Enki.

The Iskur V2's standout feature is its lumbar support cushion, which is almost an entirely independent panel that's far more adjustable to you and the way you sit, than any other lumbar cushion or integrated scroll wheel.

If you're looking for a gaming chair to prevent aches and pains after long hours spent gaming or working at a desk, the Iskur V2 is what you should have your eye out for this Black Friday.

Comfortable and supportive in equal measure

Classy styling and color choices
Accessible price point
Noisy with squeaks and clicks out of the box

Lacks the premium vibe of others

Regular price: From $499 / £369
Expected Black Friday price: From $429 / £280

Boulies gaming chairs are almost always discounted, and for once, that doesn't point to poor quality. We're certain this will be a chair that's on offer for Black Friday, mainly because it already is in an early site-wide Black Friday sale. If we're lucky, we'll see a further price drop when it comes to Thanksgiving week, but the Master Series is already pretty affordable.

The reason we really like this chair is because it can keep a low profile. A lot of gaming chairs are flamboyant, and immediately recognizable as seats for gamers. The Boulies Master is definitely a gaming chair, and it has all the standout features you'd want from one, but it would slot right into a remote working setup as well and isn't going to draw too much attention from colleagues in video calls.
