If you're in need of some good news, the fact that you can watch Frozen 2 online right now (or stream the original Frozen, for that matter) might be just the ticket. More specifically, Disney has chosen to release the movie months ahead of time on its streaming service, Disney Plus, due to the coronavirus outbreak.
That means you can watch Frozen 2 online at the press of a button. All you need is a Disney Plus sign-up. Once you've gotten a subscription, Frozen and its new sequel will be yours to stream as often as you'd like. You can even binge them for free if you grab a Disney Plus free trial.
Set shortly after the original movie, Frozen 2 sees ice-queen Elsa drawn by a mysterious call from the forest. She and her sister Anna are then swept up in a mission to save the kingdom, not to mention discover the truth about their heritage. It's a delightful and downright gorgeous flick with songs that are destined to become stuck in your head.
Not that Frozen 2 is the only reason to consider a Disney Plus subscription. There are plenty of other things to enjoy once you're done with the adventures of Elsa and Anna. For example, every episode of The Simpsons is squirrelled away on Disney Plus, Marvel films are available too, and Onward has just arrived on the US version of the service.
So, let's dive "into the unknown" (sorry) with all the info you need on signing up to Disney Plus below.
Watch Frozen 2 online - US
Disney Plus | $6.99 per month
Frozen 2 has arrived on Disney Plus months ahead of schedule, meaning that anyone who signs up can start watching right away. The original movie is available there as well, along with a ton of other films, TV shows, and documentaries.
As such, those based in the United States that don't want to grab a physical copy of the film should pick up a Disney Plus membership instead. At just $6.99 per month, it's not unreasonable value for money.
Speaking of which, there's an alternative offer that gets you even more bang for your buck. More specifically, you can get a bundle that gets you Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN+ for just $12.99 per month. That's loads of content to keep you busy beyond Frozen's Arendelle.
Watch Frozen 2 online - Canada
Disney Plus | $9.99 per month
Want to watch Frozen 2? You can do so by signing up to Disney Plus. It's as easy as that - much like the rest of the world, the sequel to Frozen is available on Canada's version of Disney Plus right now. What are you waiting for?
There's loads of other content to enjoy once you've gotten your fill of Disney Plus, too. The Toy Story series is available there, along with the new Lion King remake and classic Disney flicks. There's also a ton of Marvel and Star Wars content to enjoy, so you won't be stuck for choice.View Deal
Watch Frozen 2 online - UK
Disney Plus | Arrives 17 July 2020
Unfortunately for those of us in the UK, Frozen 2 hasn't been put on Disney Plus yet "due to other existing agreements". That probably means it'll pop up somewhere else first. Our bet would be on Now TV's Sky Cinema pass.
When does Frozen 2 arrive on Disney Plus, then? According to the service, it'll become available 17 July 2020. In the meantime, we'll just have to distract ourselves by re-watching the original Frozen, The Mandalorian, and the likes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Watch Frozen 2 online - Australia
Disney Plus | $8.99 per month
If you're hunting down Frozen 2 in Australia, you'll find it on Disney Plus. It's the cheapest and easiest way to watch the animated sequel; you can get access via a free trial or a normal subscription, which won't set you back much anyway.
There are plenty of other shows, documentaries, and movies to enjoy there as well beyond the Frozen franchise. Moana? Check. Pixar flicks? Check. Marvel movies? Check. It's all here and available at the press of a button.View Deal
How to watch Frozen 2 online anywhere else
Watch Disney Plus in your area
If your country has Disney Plus, you can almost certainly tune in there. Beyond the US, Canada, and Australia, confirmed areas with Frozen 2 are the Netherlands and New Zealand.
As for the rest of the world - like mainland Europe - it's highly likely that Frozen 2 will arrive before long. If it doesn't appear on day one of launch, it's probably tied up on another service for the time being.
