First off, Quads has finally landed in Warzone's Battle Royale and Plunder modes, allowing teams of four players to squad up together and fight to be the last group standing in Verdansk.

Infinity Ward has also promised a "continuous overhaul" to Warzone's pool of ground loot to keep strategies fresh for regular players, while teasing new modes like "‘Scopes and Scatter Guns", alongside more surprises on the way.

As for multiplayer, Modern Warfare season 3 adds three new 6v6 maps to Call of Duty's traditional PvP (Talsik Backlot, Hovec Sawmill, and Aniyah Incursion) alongside two additional weapons available to unlock in player's arsenal - semi-auto pistol the Renetti, and a lightweight carbine called the SKS.

Finally, a new operator has also arrived to Modern Warfare season 3 in the form of Alex, who players of the game's main campaign will likely be familiar with. It turns out that this solider didn't die as the story suggested, and is back in action as part of the Coalition’s deep Operator pool, ready to be unlocked.

You can read more about season 3's additions in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare patch notes and Call of Duty: Warzone patch notes respectively, but there's plenty to enjoy in this latest update to the online shooter, which continues to get better with every new season.
