How to get into the hotel in 007 First light
There are four main ways into the hotel in First Light and one of them takes seconds
Working out how to get into the hotel in 007 First Light is James Bond's first real test of spy craft in a full field mission. So, obviously, you want to A) get it right, and B) do it in the coolest way possible. There are four main options to get in, split equally between bluffing your way through the front door with a stolen press pass, or sneaking in a couple of open windows.
There's one clear winner for the fastest way in though if you want to be quick, but none of the options are tough or long. It's all down to what appeals to your inner Bond the most. Let's run through all the choices below and, James, do be careful.
007 First Light hotel entrance options
There are four main routes into the hotel in First Light. Two involve stealing a Press Pass to walk in through the front door, and two involve sneaking past security to climb in through an open window:
- In the booth to the right of the entrance is a white box with a press pass in it. If you dart the guard standing next to it he'll walk off, giving you a few seconds to sneak in and grab it. Then you can just walk in the front door.
- There's a secure area to the right where you can use the flowers, and hang over a ledge, to sneak past the guard there to reach a drainpipe to the first floor. There you can kick open a gate and climb through a window to get in.
- There's a ledge with a blue tarp on here you can hang off reach a drainpipe, and then climb up to get in a window, but you'll need to distract a guard to do it unseen. You can either dart them, or steal a lighter to set fire to the wheelbarrow of leaves - while facing the blue wall turn around to see a hose you can turn on to distract a guest and steal their lighter.
- If you wait near the blue tarped wall you'll see an eavesdropping opportunity from a woman on a phone. Listen in and she'll give away the location of a hidden press pass you can steal.
Number one is by far the quickest option here - you can dart the guard and immediately walk in the second he's distracted. You might start to trigger an alert but you can step in, open the box, steal the press pass, then get out before anything actually happens.
The other options are all easy as well, they just take longer. Eavesdropping on the woman will send you to a lower level to find a pot with a press pass hidden in it. While, of the two sneaking options, the left route is the longest and slowest, while the right is much quicker. The only real choice you have to make from all the options is which feels most like Bond?
Once inside you can carry on chasing the suspicious Bellhop, meeting a few other challenges along the way. You'll need to work out the First Light manager's office safe code to get some useful stuff, as well as locate the Laundry code and eventually solve the First Light Fireplace puzzle before you can finally catch up with your target.
