Fortnite Week 1 challenges: How to beat all of the weekly assignments in Season 4 Week 1

The Marvel heroes are assembling, and a fresh season begins with a new set of Fortnite Week 1 challenges. The menus may have changed and we've got a fancy new table to view the list of Fortnite challenges through in the battle pass area, but the concept still remains the same. As we've come to expect with the start of a season, these tasks will encourage players to try out some of the new mechanics and locations brought in to Fortnite, such as battling with Doctor Doom or stealing weapons from Stark Robots. If you're ready to start clearing all of the Fortnite Week 1 challenges from your list, then we've got all the information you need to make that happen.

  • Search Chests at Dirty Docks (7)
  • Eliminations at Holly Hedges (3)
  • Collect Floating Rings at Misty Meadows (4)
  • Eliminate Stark Robots at Quinjet Patrol landing sites (5)
  • Gas up a vehicle at Lazy Lake (1)
  • Deal damage to opponents with Stark Industries Energy Rifles (1,000)
  • Eliminate Doctor Doom at Doom's Domain [Rec: 4 Players] (3)

Here's some more information on everything you need to know so you can clear all seven of the Fortnite Week 1 challenges in Season 4:

Search Chests at Dirty Docks (7)

Dirty Docks is a named location on the east coast of the island, so head there and search through the various warehouses and shipping containers until you open the required number of chests.

Eliminations at Holly Hedges (3)

As Holly Hedges is towards the west coast of the island, you can't guarantee to find opponents there unless the circle closes around this area. For a better shot at hitting those eliminations, play in Team Rumble mode.

Collect Floating Rings at Misty Meadows (4)

The Floating Rings are back, and this time they're on the rooftops of buildings around Misty Meadows, so get up high and look for those blue circles. If you need some help then we have all the Fortnite floating rings at Misty Meadows locations to get you through it.

Eliminate Stark Robots at Quinjet Patrol landing sites (5)

Stark Robots are a new type of Henchmen, which are found at Fortnite Quinjet Patrol landing sites around the map. These change with every match, but our separate guide has all the information you need to find them.

Gas up a vehicle at Lazy Lake (1)

You shouldn't have a problem finding Fortnite cars in Lazy Lake, but if you do there are also plenty of them nearby in Retail Row. Drive one to the gas station on the west side of Lazy Lake, then spray it with a fuel pump to gas up – if you're lucky there may already be one waiting for you at the gas station.

Deal damage to opponents with Stark Industries Energy Rifles (1,000)

You'll need to head to a Quinjet Patrol landing site and take down a Stark Robot to get you hands on one of the Stark Industries Energy Rifles, then start targeting opponents with it. Handily, the Stark Robots count as opponents, so you can quickly rack up damage on those NPCs.

Eliminate Doctor Doom at Doom's Domain [Rec: 4 Players] (3)

Doom's Domain has replaced Pleasant Park as a named location on the map, and you'll need to take Doctor Doom down three times for this challenge. He's normally found inside the large house at the north end and is very powerful so it's best to squad up, then if anyone in your group gets the elimination you'll all receive credit for it.
