Here's a tasty behind-the-scenes glimpse at the making of 1950's SF classic Destination Moon. George Pal's pseudo-documentary told of mankind's first moonshot, 19 years before Apollo planted the flag in the lunar dust for real. Life magazine sent a photographer and you can see an archive of rare images here.
