My favorite Lego Star Wars sets just got a major discount, including UCS Millennium Falcon

May 4 (AKA Star Wars Day) is rapidly approaching like a starship hitting lightspeed, and a host of my favorite Lego Star Wars sets have been hit upside the head with some huge price cuts to celebrate. And yes, that includes the UCS Millennium Falcon... AKA one of the best Lego sets ever made.

Amazon is boasting a host of major discounts on Lego Star Wars sets today, ranging from smaller savings on playsets to hundreds of pounds off enormous Ultimate Collector Series sets. Indeed, all eyes will likely be drawn to the Millennium Falcon (it's currently £159.99 less than normal at Amazon, after all). That's understandable; this is one of the most detailed models around with over 7,500 pieces under its belt, a host of full interior rooms to explore, and numerous hidden secrets if you look closely enough.

However, focusing solely on that would be doing other kits from a galaxy far, far away a disservice - so many other great Lego Star Wars sets have been reduced too. For ease and to make sure you aren't missing out on anything, I've listed my favorite offers in the sale below.

Of all these offers, I think my favorites (besides the UCS Falcon, obviously) would have to be the droids. I'm a huge fan of these characterful kits, and it always cheers me up to see both Lego R2-D2 and Lego C-3PO on display in the GamesRadar+ office. They manage to capture the personality of both bots perfectly from poses alone, and because both are in scale with one another, they make a great pair to show off together on your shelf.

I've found Amazon to be pretty great for discounting Lego Star Wars sets before now, so hopefully more is to come soon. Perhaps we can eventually look forward to a bargain on my favourite ship in the entire saga later in the year?
