Stacia Kane and Stephen Hunt get set for SFX Weekender

Stacia Kane is probably best known for her urban fantasies, which include the deliciously dark Downside series and the Demons books starring Megan Chase. As well as writing striking modern fantasy, she’s also dabbled in erotic fiction (under the pen name December Quinn) and has a mean way with a twist ending.

Stephen Hunt was first published in 1994, and has since made a name for himself as a leading light in steampunk fantasy literature. The Court Of The Air (2007) established his Jackelian universe, and the sixth book in the series, From The Deep Of The Dark , is due in 2012.

The upcoming SFX Weekender will be taking place at Pontin’s Prestatyn Sands from 2-5 February 2012. At the galaxy’s greatest multimedia sci-fi event, guests can expect a packed line-up of star guest, interviews, Q&A sessions, workshops, videogaming, book readings and DJs, authors, quizzes, film and TV previews, and a packed programme of entertainment tailored to provide the ultimate science fiction and fantasy experience.
