Schrodinger can be tricky to find. It is a feline after all.
Who you get it from: The owner of Seedy’s a food stand on Hawker’s Row in The Glutton’s Quarter.
When you can obtain the quest: Any time
Rewards for completion: 1500 gil, Chef’s Hat x1, Max HP +120, Strength +8, Magic +4
Instructions for completion: Talk to Seedy’s owner and taste his food sample. Then run over to Gordon Gourmet’s restaurant, The Banquet of the Lord, which is up a couple flights of stairs adjacent to The Glutton’s Quarter. Gordon will tell you to sample foods and drinks from six restaurants. They include: The Meat Grill, Fishy Flavors, Stand ‘n Sip, The Veggie Parlor, Terrace Cafe, and The Banquet Maitre ‘D of The Banquet of the Lord. Then return to Gordon and talk to him.
Now make your way to Aromatic Market (in between The Glutton’s Quarter and Central Avenue). If you look to the left of the hotel, you’ll encounter a Schrodinger beast. Defeat it to get the civet musk and show it to Gordon. Now go back to Seedy’s owner and give him the civet musk. He’ll then give you the Steak a la Civet. Hand over the Steak a la Civet to Gordon Gourmet to earn your reward.
