Best Pokemon TCG Pocket Miraidon ex deck
Paradox Drive is bringing new deck builds for PTCGP
Miraidon ex in Pokemon TCG Pocket is a powerful electric legendary Pokemon who's come out swinging as part of the meta in the Paradox Drive booster expansion, using Magneton and Magnezone as backups to hit the opponent as hard as possible and build a strong mid-game. Below I'll take you through how to make your own Miraidon ex deck, as well as how it operates in PTCGP and the strategy to apply with it.

Miraidon's ability to drain energy and come out swinging for massive damage makes it unpredictably dangerous, especially when paired with energy generation.

Energy: Electric
Magneton and Magnezone remain unshakeable in the meta for Electric decks, but now that generation pairs with Miraidon's ability to take energy from other Pokemon and immediately replace them in the active spot, with an attack that scales to how much energy it has on it. Meanwhile, Turo allows you to shuffle Miriadon back into your deck, stopping it from being KOd in a pinch and getting the chance to use its ability again later on.
There is some flexibility here in the build. You could lean into boosting Miraidon's low health with something like the Giant Cape, add Teal Mask Ogerpon for immunity to status effects, swap out Magnemite for a tougher variant if you find yourself getting hit too hard in the early game, or throw in the Electric Generator for increased energy output.
- Pros
- Miriadon is a great, fast glass cannon
- Turo gives you flexibility
- Magnezone is a good damage/tank combo that can handle Oricorio
- Cons
- Miraidon has pretty low health
- Can be vulnerable in the early game
- If you can't draw Magnemite, you're in trouble
