Best Pokemon TCG Pocket Suicune ex and Chien-Pao ex deck
Suicune ex is a strong water type, made stronger when paired with Chien-Pao ex and Baxcalibur
The Suicune ex deck build in Pokemon TCG Pocket comes in many forms, but this one has been a staple since it debuted, as Suicune's scaling damage, ability to dissuade opponents from putting out Pokemon, and passive draw abilities make it one of the strongest openers in all of Pokemon TCGP. Here, combined with Baxcalibur for energy generation and Chien-Pao ex for bench targeting, the result is a very strong Water deck build that remains durable and versatile, and will probably hold to the PTCGP meta for a while.

Energy: Water
This deck build makes use of Chien-Pao's frankly terrifying ability to hit a benched Pokemon for 130 damage, at the cost of discarding all the energy on it. The set-up is relatively simple though: Suicune ex comes out first to help fill your hand and provide a strong opening, while you build up Baxcalibur on the bench. It then uses the Ice Maker ability to quickly provide Chien-Pao with energy once you bring it forward. If you like to gamble, try added Misty to this build for those quick energy summons.
- Pros
- To do 130 damage to a benched target is terrifying
- Suicune ex is a very strong opening play
- Baxcalibur is a solid tank and incredible energy generator
- Cons
- Chein-Pao's energy discard means it's hard to be continuously effective
- Baxcalibur requires Stage 2 evolution
- Suicune ex is always weakened by an empty bench
