Best Pokemon TCG Pocket Mega Sceptile ex deck
Mega Sceptile ex is a powerful poison-focused Grass type card in PTCGP
Mega Sceptile ex in Pokemon TCG Pocket is the centerpiece of one of the most powerful Grass type decks, capable of doing massive damage and inflicting Poison in a single attack. The downside is that it's burdened by an energy discard that makes sustained attacks expensive. Still, if you can make the best possible deck, Sceptile is very strong in the meta of best decks for Pokemon TCG Pocket, as I'll explain below.

Energy: Grass
This is pretty straightforward: Pheromosa and Treecko buy time early on until you can have Mega Sceptile ex ready to do some significant damage and tear through as the heavy hitter of the deck later. Even before Sceptile is on the field, the inclusion of Poison Barb means that you can whittle down your opponents fairly significantly, or hold them back long enough to get Sceptile running without incident.
This is a deck with a pretty good draw power for Pokemon specifically, with cards like Fragrant Forest and May replacing the usual inclusion of Poke Balls. It's also a deck with a decent amount of survival built in, with Erika adding resistance to an already durable deck. You can swap cards like Erika and May out for Quick Grow Extract or Leaf Cape if you want to switch things up, or consider including the Memory Light tool card, as Grovyle's ability to attack the bench can be really effective in certain circumstances.
- Pros
- Low energy requirements
- Powerful poison use if done right
- Good card draw options
- Cons
- Dependant on Stage 2 evolution
- Struggles against Poison-immune decks
- Sceptile discards energy with every attack
