How to unlock all suits in Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight
Having played the preview of Lego Batman LotDK, I've seen how many suits you can collect, and how to get them
Skins and Suits in Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight are one of the major collectives throughout the game, with over 100 costumes and batsuits for players to hunt down throughout Gotham City. Having been given a chance to play a preview build of the game and see the section of the Batcave where all these suits are displayed, I'll be able to tell you how many there are in the game, as well as how to unlock these suits for yourself and change skins accordingly, whenever you want to show off a different side of Batman and his allies.
How many suits are in Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight?
Having seen the section of the Batcave where all suits and costumes are displayed in-game, we saw that the base edition of Lego Batman has 101 suits and costumes, presumably not including those added by DLC and expansions.
With seven different Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight characters across the game, this appears to break down as follows:
Article continues below- Batman: 35 suits
- Commissioner Gordon: 11 suits
- Catwoman: 11 suits
- Robin: 11 suits
- Batgirl: 11 suits
- Nightwing: 11 suits
- Talia al Ghul: 11 suits
Of course, if updates and changes to the final game impact or tweak these numbers, we'll update accordingly. It's been confirmed that the Joker and Harley Quinn will be added to the game in later DLC, presumably each with their own suits to unlock.
There are also multiple skins / appearances for vehicles, though we don't know the full number or how these are unlocked at this time prior to the game's launch.
How to unlock new costumes in Lego Batman Legacy
There are three ways to unlock new suits and costumes for the main characters in Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight, at least as revealed so far.
- Rewards for completing Missions. Every mission I was given the opportunity to play unlocked one new suit for each of the characters you play as during that mission.
- Purchased from the Bat-Mite Store. These stores appear in the Batcave and throughout Gotham City, in which random costumes appear and can be purchased with Studs.
- DLC. Pre-orders and downloadable content for Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight has already been confirmed, such as a "Dark Knight Returns" batsuit for those who pre-order.
How to change suits in Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight
You can change outfits in the "Characters" section of the pause menu. Simply select the character you want to change the suit of, and you'll be given a list of every unlocked outfit below to pick from.
