OK, so Lara's return isn't exclusive to PS2 - but she's always been the PlayStation queen, and this version seems set to be her homecoming crown.
It's a return to the aspects that made the first game a classic- raiding, tombs, that kind of thing - but not its pesky grid-based movement system, meaning you spend less time inching Lara around edges, and more doing archaeological acrobatics.
The welcome home party starts in April.
