For the unlucky few who don’t know, Shin Megami Tensei and particularly its sub-series Persona take RPGs to weird, engrossing new worlds that more often than not involve gross demons fighting emo Japanese high schoolers. And we couldn’t love them more. We thought Persona 3, its first update FES, and Persona 4 were the bee’s knees. When developer/publisher Atlus finally announced a US release date for the PSP version of the third game, cleverly titled Persona 3 Portable or P3P, we were elated that we could play the game again and finally do something with our dormant PSPs (though they make fine paperweights).
To continue the lead-up to the July 6 release, Atlus sent this new trailer detailing some of the new features of the game, including a playable female main character. Though not mentioned, we’re assuming you’ll still be shooting yourself in the head to call out your Persona, and so as long as that’s unchanged we’re in. Enough jibber-jabber, here’s the vid:
