Cyber Monday Nintendo Switch deals are returning once more, bringing with them a slew of gaming tech savings right after Black Friday is done and dusted. This year marks the first Cyber Monday since the release of the Nintendo Switch 2, which could shake things up a notch and make the savings better than ever before.

The sales are kicking off on December 1, giving you plenty of time to grab some Nintendo-shaped gifts for the holidays, or just treat yourself, because why not? Last year's sales packed a serious punch, with record-low prices on consoles, games, and accessories. Both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch OLED took center stage with their own bundle savings, but the recent price hikes likely mean we won't see these savings return this time around.

It's not all doom and gloom. The existence of the Switch 2 could push brands to get rid of old accessories and stock, so we could see record lows across the board. Not to mention, the Switch 2's backwards compatibility with games means any last-minute game deals are going to be ideal for creating a jam-packed Switch 2 game library, and could still be the perfect gift for the big Nintendo fan in your life.

So you're prepared for the savings ahead, I've used all my years' worth of experience covering Nintendo Switch deals to see what you can expect from this year's Cyber Monday savings. Don't forget, the Black Friday Nintendo Switch deals will commence first, giving you more chances to pick up some discounted Ninty goodies.

Cyber Monday Nintendo Switch deals FAQ

What to expect from Cyber Monday Nintendo Switch deals 2024

The major difference about this year's Cyber Monday Nintendo Switch deals is that the Nintendo Switch 2 is now in the picture. Its existence could mean that we'll see some of the biggest savings so far when those prices start to roll back, but don't expect bundles to be involved.

If you're on the hunt for a console, this Cyber Monday isn't going to be the savings saviour it's been in previous years. On August 1, Nintendo announced that a price hike for its original Switch family of handhelds was incoming, making this year's deals a bit awkward. Instead of its $299.99 MSRP, the original Switch now retails for $339.99, and the Switch OLED is $399.99. Given the price increase, it's very likely that any deals that roll around this year aren't really going to be deals at all and will just bring the prices closer to their original MSRP.

I hope that's not the case, but this year's Cyber Monday will be better spent turning your focus to the deals on Switch and Switch 2 controllers, headsets, SD cards, and games instead. The best Switch accessories to look out for will undeniably be ones that happen to be compatible with both devices, which includes everything from the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 Wireless headset to the original Switch Pro controller.

Not every single accessory out there is fully supported on the Switch and Switch 2, so do make sure to double-check before you grab a bargain this Cyber Monday. Even if you haven't got your Switch 2 yet, ensuring your new accessories are supported on both handhelds means you'll save money in the long run as you won't have to re-buy any headsets, controllers, and other accessories.

Nintendo Switch game deals are also going to be extra valuable when the Cyber Monday deals roll around. With the dreaded Nintendo tax still being an issue, I doubt we'll see huge record lows on older Switch games, but even smaller discounts will be worth making a fuss about. The Switch 2 is backwards compatible with Switch games, with some even running better on the new device. Grabbing a Cyber Monday Switch game bargain this year could be the perfect way to bolster your new game library. Not to mention, I've already spotted up to $10 off a ton of Switch 2 games on the lead up to this year's sales, although they are only found on game-key card titles like Yakuza 0 Director's Cut.

When will Cyber Monday Nintendo Switch deals start?

Cyber Monday Nintendo Switch deals will officially kick off on December 1, 2025. However, we often see retailers keeping their Black Friday sale live over the weekend, and blending the two events by the time Cyber Monday rolls around.

Where will the best Cyber Monday Nintendo Switch deals be?

Does Nintendo have Cyber Monday deals?

Nintendo runs its own Cyber Monday deals across its website and via a variety of retail partners. These offers often include the classic Mario Kart 8 Deluxe / Nintendo Switch Online bundle as well as plenty of discounts on digital downloads, extra accessories, and physical games.

Don't expect to see any savings on the Nintendo Switch 2 or any Switch 2 bundles this year, however. The handheld is still pretty new, and it's unlikely to see any major discounts until next year at least.

Should you buy a Nintendo Switch 2 on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

The Nintendo Switch 2 will only be a few months old by the time Cyber Monday kicks off this year, and even then, it's doubtful it'll receive any discounts. With that in mind, whether you should buy a Switch 2 this Cyber Monday will depend on other factors besides discounts - like what you want to play, and what you're budget is like.

If you're desperate to grab the latest Switch 2 games, then by all means, I recommend picking up a Switch 2 right now, never mind waiting until Cyber Monday. Titles like Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and the upcoming Kirby Air Riders are all Switch 2 exclusives, and it's entirely valid to grab a new console just to play a game you think you'll enjoy.

Whether you grab one now or wait until Cyber Monday, grabbing a bundle is your best way to make a saving. Alone, the Switch 2 has an MSRP of $449.99, and a copy of Mario Kart World retails for $79.99, so you are saving $30 by buying the bundle. Remember, whether you grab the Mario Kart World of Pokemon Legends Z-A bundle (which launches on October 16), you won't be receiving a physical game. Each bundle comes with a download voucher, which can be redeemed via the eShop on the Switch 2.
