Nintendo has released the first image of the 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro, which it announced back in June would be coming to the handheld (having shunned the idea of adding a second built-in stick during the console’s redesign). Here it is sitting alongside the regular 3DS.

No word yet on the availability of this attractive add-on outside of Japan.
