Fortnite payphones offer you another route to accepting Fortnite quests, without having to track down the NPCs offering them in person. If you hear a ringing sound, then the chances are you're close to one of these orange units, and if you answer the call you'll be connected to several of the Fortnite characters who you can then choose from to undertake their questline without going to see them first. From humble beginnings the Fortnite payphones have now sprung up all over the island, so we've got all the details on where to find them and how to use them to collect new challenges.

Some Fortnite payphones locations have been incorporated into existing pieces of scenery, so they may look familiar to you as they're attached to the side of Fortnite bus stops and near Fortnite gas pumps. This means you'll find a lot of them at the sides of roads, and a number of the named locations have Fortnite payphones on the outskirts of their area, including Believer Beach, Catty Corner, Holly Hatchery, Misty Meadows, Pleasant Park, Retail Row, and Slurpy Swamp.

As you can see from the map, there are plenty of Fortnite payphones locations to choose from, and you should be able to spot the bright orange unit as you approach.  You'll also be able to and hear the phone ringing, and if you need further guidance to track it down then you will also be able to see a small telephone icon on your minimap once you get close enough.

Using Fortnite payphones to accept a quest is easy, once you've found one using the above map. Simply approach the ringing unit and follow the Payphone prompt to interact with it, then select a character quest from the wheel as you would do when speaking to one of them in person. As with other quests, you don't need to do anything to 'turn in' when you've completed it, as you'll receive your Fortnite gold bars automatically once you've met the requirements.
