How to get the Powered Descender Blueprint in Arc Raiders
The Arc Raiders Powered Descender lets glide down from great heights, but you’ll need the blueprint before you can craft one
The Arc Raiders Powered Descender blueprint is a much sought-after loot drop, given that it allows you to craft a brilliant traversal item. Thankfully, it’s fairly easy to get, and I was surprised at how quickly I got one after playing just two matches in Riven Tides. Like any other blueprint in Arc Raiders, this one can technically spawn anywhere on the map, though there are certain zones that you’ll want to focus on to improve your chances. Here’s where to find the Powered Descender blueprint in Arc Raiders, as well as some tips on speeding up the process.
Arc Raiders Powered Descender Blueprint location
To find the Powered Descender Blueprint just load into Riven Tides and start looting. You can get the blueprint from any container, though of course, there are ways to improve your chances. I found mine by exploring the Port Authority Building area on the Riven Tides map. That and the Hotel Panorama Azzurra area are high loot zones (indicated by their red outlines), though personally, I found the former to be a lot quieter and easier to loot freely. To improve your chances, consider opening the locked doors in these locations. I found a key to a locked Port Authority door in a random crate on the beach, and then the blueprint itself was in a box on a shelf behind the locked door.
In my time playing Riven Tides so far, I’ve found both of the new blueprints multiple times, without needing to bother too much with keys, or night raids. That being said, locked rooms and Night Raids both have increased chances of higher loot spawns, so you may be able to speed things up by prioritising them. Regardless, play enough raids on Riven Tides, and open enough containers, and the Powered Descender blueprint will drop for you eventually.

To craft a Powered Descender in Arc Raiders, you need the following components:
Crafting Components | How to get it |
|---|---|
Power Rod (x2) | Loot at the power generation complex on Dam Battlegrounds, and other locations marked as Electrical |
Turbine Compressor (x1) | Dropped by Arc Turbines |
Turbine Compressors are the rarest components here, and you’ll need to take down an Arc Raiders Arc Turbine to get them. Alternatively, you can loot Arc Couriers. I found a Turbine Compressor this way on Dam Battlegrounds, though it’s likely a lot more random than looting the Arc Turbine enemies.
The Powered Descender features a power meter much like the Arc Raiders Dockmaster's Detector and the Photovoltaic Cloak. This bar will decrease as you use it, and it’ll stop working once it’s run out. You’ll need to equip the Powered Descender before using it, and then jump off of a high enough ledge.
It takes a second to kick in, but hold the right trigger (left click on PC) to glide down and land safely. If you don’t give the item enough time to kick in, you’ll take a bit of fall damage when you hit the ground. It’s best used when falling from as high up as possible.
