Avian Alarm project walkthrough for Arc Raiders
How to complete the Avian Alarm project and find the Buoys along the Seabed in Riven Tides
The Arc Raiders Avian Alarm project is the newest long-term project added as part of the Riven Tides update, in which players are given a month to work through all five tiers and earn all the rewards accordingly. This is a fairly unique project, as it includes a step that's completed not by contributing materials, but by completing an objectives out in the map: Specifically, "lay a bird trap next to the buoys along the Seabed in Riven Tides." I'll lay out the exact location for you below, as well as all the other steps and rewards along the way in our full walkthrough for the Avian Alarm project.
How to complete the Avian Alarm project
The Avian Alarm project in Arc Raiders is broken up into five stages, or tiers. The first one, Initial Flock Intake, requires players to complete a quest objective in Riven Tides, but all other four stages require you to submit various materials.
This is a limited time project. Players will only have until Tuesday 26 May, 2026 to complete these challenges and earn the rewards.

The first step, inital Flock Intake, has no required materials for players to submit. Instead, there's a simple quest objective that we'll explain just below.
Rewards:

Lay a bird trap next to the buoys along the Seabed in Riven Tides
To complete the first objective of the Avian Alarm, players need to go to the new Riven Tides map and to the location marked on the map above in the Seabed area. There you'll find a large, orange Buoy with numerous interaction spots around it (it should stand out in the flat landscape).
Trigger any of those interaction spots to lay the bird trap and complete the objective. You don't need to extract to still be successful, as Arc Raiders will recognise the achievement either way. Just go back to the Project menu in Speranza to register the challenge as complete.
