We're well into 2026 with summer on the horizon, and that means superhero movie season is about to start ramping up again. Marvel and DC both have big movies on deck this year, and there's even more still in development. With that in mind, we've put together a handy guide to all the upcoming superhero movies in 2026 and beyond.
Both Marvel Phase 6 and the DCU: Chapter One are heading into their second years, with big new entries planned for 2026. Marvel is prepping Spider-Man: Brand New Day and of course the massively anticipated Avengers: Doomsday, while over on the DC side we're anxiously awaiting both Supergirl and the Batman-adjacent Clayface. And that's not even mentioning the non-Marvel/DC films in the works.
Don't worry about missing out on any important updates, as we've got you covered below with everything you need to know about the new superhero movies coming your way. For more, you can dig into our guides to all the upcoming Marvel movies and upcoming DC movies.

New superhero movies (TBA)
Several upcoming superhero movies have been announced and are in various stages of pre-development. However, there's no guarantee that any of these (bar a few MCU and DC offerings) will make it to the big screen. But they're worth keeping an eye on, nonetheless!
Previous DC projects, such as Gotham City Sirens and Green Lantern Corps, are now dead under the new DC Studios regime. Co-CEO James Gunn announced the slate for DCU's Chapter One: Gods and Monsters in January 2023. But, a new Wonder Woman movie is on the way.
Luckily, there are still plenty of flicks in the works and a well of titles we can re-watch in the meantime. Speaking of, if you are still playing catch up on the various superhero universes, you'll need our guides on how to watch the Marvel movies in order and the DC movies in order.

I'm the Senior Entertainment Writer here at GamesRadar+, focusing on news, features, and interviews with some of the biggest names in film and TV. On-site, you'll find me marveling at Marvel and providing analysis and room temperature takes on the newest films, Star Wars and, of course, anime. Outside of GR, I love getting lost in a good 100-hour JRPG, Warzone, and kicking back on the (virtual) field with Football Manager. My work has also been featured in OPM, FourFourTwo, and Game Revolution.
