Move over, Mark Ruffalo: Andy Serkis may have just revealed a secret Avengers: Doomsday cast member
Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan might be in Avengers: Doomsday
Mark Ruffalo has competition for King of Marvel Spoilers, as Andy Serkis may have just revealed that Ms. Marvel appears in Avengers: Doomsday.
"I'm excited for [The Hunt for] Gollum!" Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani told Cinema Hub during an interview with her Animal Farm co-star and director Serkis.
"I'm excited to see you in Doomsday," he replied, to which Vellani cried, "No, you can't say that!"
Article continues belowVellani's name wasn't part of the marathon five-and-a-half-hour casting announcement for the movie in March 2025, so this is the first confirmation we've had that she could be making an appearance in the movie.
Since Ms. Marvel debuted on Disney Plus in 2022, Vellani has only been back on our screens as teen mutant Kamala Khan once in live-action, in 2023's The Marvels (she also appeared in four episodes of the animated series Marvel Zombies last year).
If she really is in Doomsday, she'll be joining a veritable who's who of MCU stars, including Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Letitia Wright, Florence Pugh, Simu Liu, Lewis Pullman, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and more.
First up, though, is new animated movie Animal Farm, Serkis' comedic take on George Orwell's dystopian novel of farmyard revolution. Vellani voices two piglets, Puff and Tammy, while Serkis voices the farm's owner Mr. Jones and Old Major the boar. The cast also includes Gaten Matarazzo, Kieran Culkin, Glenn Close, and Woody Harrelson.
