A second Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer has just been age-rated, and it looks like it could drop online very soon
Get ready for the second Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer
After the first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day took over the internet for one whole day, you might want to prepare yourselves to do it all over again, as it looks like another trailer is on the way.
According to the government website for Alberta, Canada, a new Spider-Man trailer, labelled 'Spider-Man Brand: New Day trailer 2', was given a PG rating on May 28. The trailer has been listed as 2 minutes and 30 seconds long, which is pretty much the same as the first trailer, which clocked in at 2 minutes 40 seconds (including 10 seconds of the title card and release information right at the end).
The listing does not confirm when the new clip will surface. However, trailers for Spa Weekend and Tracy & Martina: Goin' Out West, which were both given a rating on the same day as Brand New Day, have already been released online. However, those trailers were the first to be shown, meaning there is more of a rush to get them out. Whereas the third trailer for End of Oak Street, which was also rated on May 28, has not been released yet.
We're well overdue for another Spider-Man 4 trailer, as the first was released over two months ago now, on March 18, 2026. The first Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer gave us our first look at Tom Holland's return as Peter Parker, trying to navigate a world where no one knows who he really is, including his best friend Ned and girlfriend MJ. We see the hero pour his all into crime-fighting, while his personal life looks bleak.
It is not clear what more the new trailer will tease, but Marvel fans sure have their theories on what secrets the Sony movie might be hiding. Following the Daredevil: Born Again season 2 finale, which ended with the vigilante in prison, fans are convinced that Matt Murdock will show up in Brand New Day. In the first trailer, we saw Spidey in a multi-level prison, fighting an assassin ninja group, The Hand (who previously showed up in the Daredevil series). Is this too much of a coincidence?
The first trailer also teased Parker's organic webs. Unlike Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man, Holland's hero cannot shoot webs from his wrist. Instead, he uses a nifty device in his suit. However, with Parker going through so much change in his life, his body may also be affected. It would also be nice to see more of Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner and Jon Bernthal's Punisher in the new trailer. Oh, and we still haven't had confirmation of who Stranger Things star Sadie Sink is playing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in theaters on July 31. In the meantime, get up to speed on the rest of Marvel Phase 6 with our guide to the other upcoming Marvel movies and shows.
