The Super Mario Galaxy Movie streaming release date
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie released in theaters on April 1, 2026. While some Universal movies once arrived on streaming as little as 17 days after release, that's not the case anymore, with the studio recently committing to a 35-day theatrical window before their movies hit streaming. This will increase to 45 days in 2027.
Since then, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie released on PVOD to rent and buy on May 19. The movie then released on physcial media, including 4K Blu-ray, on June 16.
Finally, the big question: When is The Super Mario Galaxy Movie coming to streaming? Well, we now know that the movie will release on NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service on July 30, 2026 – almost three months to the day since it released in theaters. Now there's no better opportunity to freeze every frame of the movie to spot the many, many Super Mario Galaxy Movie Easter eggs.
