Mining Hades 2 Bronze is essential for lots of weapon-related unlocks and upgrades, including the Argent Skull, Rod of Fishing, and Weapon Aspects at the Silver Pool. The problem is that you need to have access to Ephyra, and getting enough Bronze for everything all the above Hades 2 unlocks (and more) can take ages, particularly if you get unlucky with rare outcropping spawns. To help you find this metal quickly and reliably, I've explained how to mine Bronze in Hades 2 below.
Where to find Hades 2 Bronze
Bronze can only be found in the City of Ephyra, the first region of the Hades 2 Surface path. It comes in the form of piles of old bronze armor and must be mined with the Crescent Pick.
Because Bronze is found on the Surface, you need to have performed the Permeation of Witching-Wards Incantation to unseal the way to Ephyra, but you don’t necessarily need to have cast the Unraveling a Fateful Bond incantation. Bronze outcroppings have a chance to spawn in the first couple of encounters in Ephyra, which you can easily reach before succumbing to Chthonic Fate, but obviously getting Bronze is far easier when the curse is abated.
While you're in Ephyra, make sure you plunder every room you can while destroying the pylons to open the path through the city. After completing an encounter, there's a chance that at least one extra door can open, letting you go into a small room for a sub-encounter with minor rewards, but also a small chance for resources to spawn too.
Much later in the game when you have the Hades 2 Familiars unlocked, the white raven Raki is great to bring along to increase your odds of finding Bronze outcroppings.
As mentioned, you can use all your Bronze to unlock the Argent Skull, which has a high spot in our Hades 2 Weapon tier list. You'll also be able to cast the Aspects of Night and Darkness incantation to unlock upgradeable Hades 2 Aspects for all weapons, which is one of the most significant ways you can bolster Melinoe's power outside of a run.
If you make it out of Ephyra and beat the Guardian boss there, you can make it to the Rift of Thessaly and search for Hades 2 Iron outcroppings and Hades 2 Mandrake Seeds aboard the dead ships.
