Hot Chocolate to Die For
There are 5 locations to visit for this murder mystery, but they're limited to a single building and the garden so you should be able to collect all of the clues fairly quickly.
Location #1 - Garden
Clue #1 - Women's Body
Examine the body for your first clue.
Clue #2 - Overturned Cup
The cup is a few steps away from the body.
Clue #3 - Statement of Amélie Monvoison
Speak to the victim's sister to add her statement to your case file.
Clue #4 - Flower Garden
Check the flower garden to find a bevy of lethal foliage.
Clue #5 - Ring
You'll find the ring next to the stone bench in the garden.
Location #2 - Kitchen
Clue #1 - Mortar and Pestle
The mortar and pestle is on the sideboard in the kitchen.
Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and more
Clue #2 - Statement of the Maid
Talk to maid for her statement.
Clue #3 - Kitchen Supplies
Check the dresser for the kitchen supplies.
Location #3 - Study
Head upstairs from the kitchen to find the study.
Clue #1 - Book: Paris Society
Grab the book describing poisonings from the sofa.
Clue #2 - Commonplace Book
Another book going into even more detail about poison is on the table next to the sofa, left there by a surprisingly careless murderer.
Clue #3 - Crumpled Letter
I guess revolutionary France had a massive shortage of bins, because a perusal of the floor will produce another crumpled document containing a possible motive that someone decided to just toss away at random.
Clue #4 - Documents
Check the corner by the window to find the documents.
Location #4 - Dining Room
The dining room and study are basically the same room, so take a few steps over to prompt the location change.
Clue #1 - Statement of Georges Villiers-Segonac
Talk to Georges to add his statement to the file.
Clue #2 - Statement of Pierre Duclos
Pierre is over by the window so go and have a chat with him, adding his statement to your case file.
Clue #3 - Letter to Pierre
The letter can be found on the dining table.
Clue #4 - Silver Pot
Examine the tray at the end of the dining table to find the silver pot.
Clue #5 - Snuffbox
The snuffbox is on the dining table and is the last clue in the area.
Location #5 - Terrace
Clue #1 - Statement of Lucille Tuchet
Climb up onto the roof to find Lucille.
Whodunnit?
She's in the garden near the body, so to wrap things up without entering the house, speak to her after inspecting the corpse and then haul her arse to jail.
