Check out Wonder Woman's mystical homeland in new set footage

A new Wonder Woman set video seems to be our first live look at Themyscira, the mystical homeland of the eponymous heroine and her fellow Amazons. The video captured by an Italian news outlet centers around a busy market full of toga-wearing women going about their business. Metal bracers are very, very in this season.

The video mostly dwells on location shots filled with background actors and the crew milling around. The most notable part may be that scene of the little girl running through the market. The film crew is obviously focused on her, and with that long, dark hair, this may be an even more "naive and pure" version of Diana we're looking at. Or maybe it's just lil' sister Skipperia, or something.

Directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Lucy Davis, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, and Saïd Taghmaoui, Wonder Woman will hit theaters on June 2, 2017.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
