Fortnite has revealed Ariana Grande is headed to the battle royale game for a series of concerts later this year.

Just below, you can check out the brand new trailer for the Fortnite Rift Tour event, which is officially kicking off this Friday on August 6. Superstar Ariana Grande will be entering the game during this event, which runs on until two days later on Sunday, August 8, presenting a series of concerts in the game's Party Royale mode.

"Working with Epic and the Fortnite team to bring my music to life inside the game has been so fun and such an honor," said Ariana Grande via a press release. "I can’t wait to join my fans and see all of your reactions to such an unforgettable, magical journey to new realities."

The forthcoming concerts will be taking place at scheduled times between August 6 and 8. There'll be one concert premiering with the event at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET on the Friday, before a second showcase takes place at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET on the Saturday. Finally, there'll be three concerts taking place on the Sunday, giving players a final chance to catch Ariana Grande's concert in person before it exits the game for good.

It also seems like an Ariana Grande character skin will be arriving in Fortnite alongside the event. Developer Epic might not have formally announced anything, but one Fortnite leaker has revealed the Ariana Grande skin just below via a datamine.

This isn't unlike the Travis Scott-themed event that debuted in Fortnite last year. The rap megastar put on a digital showcase in the game's Party Royale mode, transporting players between dimensions in a flashy showcase. A Travis Scott skin was available to purchase with V-Bucks after the showcase was over, and it seems like the same will be true of Grande's forthcoming event.
