The web of intrigue surrounding Spider-Man: Brand New Day tightens as we draw closer to release, and things just got a whole lot more interesting with the reveal of new toys and Spider-Man Lego tying into the movie.
Besides sneakily revealing that Savage Hulk will appear in the movie (but that he won't be gray, as rumored), these Spider-Man: Brand New Day toys give us a better look at villains such as Scorpion and Tombstone. The latter is particularly interesting, because we haven't actually seen the gangster in footage yet - so his first appearance is technically in a Lego set. Ah, the long-running tradition of the best Lego sets spoiling movie secrets... that old chestnut. Here are the kits in question:
The most notable Spider-Man: Brand New Day Lego set combines the webslinger himself with Hulk and many of the movie's villains - Scorpion, Boomerang, Tarantula, and the dreaded Hotdog Vendor (wait, no, I think that last one's just a civilian). Crucially, the Hulk figure is all set to smash things up. As shown on the official listing, "pushing a trigger at the rear [of the building] causes the front wall to blast apart, revealing the mighty Hulk."

This more affordable playset sneakily provides our first look at Tombstone, who has yet to appear in any trailers or footage for the film. This is all based around Spidey's pursuit of an armored prison vehicle, though this version is colored blue and seems themed to Tarantula (it's labelled "ASM - 134", which just so happens to be the issue number of Tarantula's debut in the Amazing Spider-Man comics).

Want a cool Spidey on the shelf, or to go in the toybox? This new, larger action figure should fit the bill nicely. It's based on Spider-Man's new suit in Brand New Day, is plenty flexible enough to pose in comic-accurate setups, and even comes with a little Spider-Man minifig as well.

While I appreciate the more affordable prisoner transport kit (I can see it being a great gift or option for those who want a collectible from the movie without breaking the bank), it's all about the Spidey vs. Hulk building model for me. It crams in many of the film's major players, including Scorpion, alongside something to display them on, so feels like the best all-round choice if you can only afford one set to represent the movie.
Article continues belowThese aren't the only toys being shown off for Brand New Day, though. Oh no - as is the way for major tentpole movies, a host of goodies are vying for the crown of the best toys. I've listed these below alongside the manufacturer description (including a dart-firing web-shooter that's jostling for a spot on our list of the best Nerf blasters), but I have to call out the glorious toy tradition of adding something completely batsh*t to the lineup that has no bearing on anything. In this case, the "SPIDER-MAN 2-IN-1 SUPER CHOMPIN’ TANK." Will Peter Parker break out a monster truck capable of eating baddies in this film? Absolutely not, but it tickles me nonetheless.
As a sidenote, these are all apparently available "Summer 2026."
Again, it's unclear exactly when these Spider-Man: Brand New Day toys are going to arrive - there's just a vague "Summer 2026" label attached to them. But with the movie just a couple of months away, it won't be long before they arrive... and I suspect they'll be available to pre-order everywhere from Amazon to Walmart.
