It feels like a good day to fight Nazis, because Modiphius has revealed a new Wolfenstein tabletop RPG.
Set to focus on MachineGames' The New Order and The New Colossus, this Wolfenstein tabletop RPG will utilize the Modiphius 2d20 system as seen in the Fallout and Star Trek TTRPGs. It casts players as resistance fighters battling the Nazi regime in an alternate universe where they won World War II and will come to crowdfunding as of Fall 2026.
Modiphius has been around the block when it comes to adaptations, so they certainly have the experience to pull off a Wolfenstein TTRPG. If you want a head-start on its other work, you can find the Star Trek Adventures RPG starter set at Amazon alongside its Fallout: Wasteland Warfare skirmish game (also at Amazon).
The press release notes that you'll come to the fight armed with advanced weapons, and it's up to you to "wage war as resistance fighters against their oppressors with the blood, fire, and fury exemplified in the iconic video games." I'm not sure about you, but that sounds pretty good to me – and should be a welcome change from the usual swords 'n' sorcery of the best tabletop RPGs.
"As a result of our continued relationship with Bethesda Softworks, we’re thrilled to announce that we are working on a tabletop roleplaying game for Wolfenstein," says Chris Burch, co-founder of Modiphius. "We hope that fans will enjoy being able to immerse themselves in the world in a new way. Get psyched!"
We don't have many other details yet, but we should find out more soon – keep 'em peeled.
