The list of PS4 Pro games continues to grow. Resident Evil 7 is the latest game revealed to have PS4 Pro-specific features, and if you want your rotting flesh and spooky houses to be as crisp and clear as possible, you might want to pay attention. The Resident Evil 7 official Twitter account claims that the game will support both 4K resolution and HDR.
Before you get too excited, keep in mind that this is 4K upscaling, not native resolution. The game will be clearer, but it's better to know what you're in for than have an unpleasant surprise down the road. As for HDR, all PS4 consoles - base, Slim, and Pro - are compatible with the technology thanks to the recent 4.0 update.
Maybe that increased clarity will finally help us figure out what's going on with RE7's infamous finger.
