The 31 Black Friday deals gamers should know about this week: big savings across PS5, Xbox, Switch, and PC
All the biggest deals you need to know about this Black Friday week
Black Friday is very nearly upon us, but I normally see the biggest offers of the week landing in the next few days. That means it's all to play for right now, and with both Sony and Nintendo launching their own official offers in the last few days the big guns are getting drawn.
I've been covering Black Friday deals for over six years now, so I know when and where the biggest discounts will likely land. Not only that, but I (alongside the rest of the GamesRadar+ Hardware team) have been hands-on with all the latest and greatest gadgets over the course of the last year as well.
That means I know which games and accessories are actually worth your time and what you should pay for them. You'll find my top Black Friday deals so far just below, but I'll be here all week digging up gold and bringing my treasure right here.

Deals were my entire job when I started at our sister site TechRadar, devoting my day to day to finding the biggest discounts around. Now I'm at GamesRadar+ I have another tool in my arsenal; real hands-on experience. I personally specialize in gaming laptops, Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, mice, keyboards, and tablets, but I'm also pulling from the entire GamesRadar+ Hardware team's strengths to only highlight the very best gizmos on this page.

When does Black Friday actually start?
If your ads are anything like mine, you'll have been hearing about Black Friday deals for weeks now. The good news is we're pretty much in the thick of it now.
I normally see discounts take a step up from the Monday of Thanksgiving week, with more savings available and some slightly deeper savings compared to the previous few weeks. Not everything is going to be cheaper this week, but some gadgets will stick a few extra bucks in your pocket.
That said, Black Friday itself officially starts at midnight on November 28.

Save $20 on special edition DualSense controllers
Sony has a massive range of DualSense controllers discounted for Black Friday, with $20 off the $74.99 MSRP of the basic models and similar discounts on special edition releases. Everything from God of War to Astro Bot colorways are included here, though you'll be paying a little more for those extra paintjobs.

Those Nintendo Switch game deals are moving fast
Nintendo only dropped its official Black Friday deals yesterday, but many retailers are already out of stock on some of the biggest offers. A bunch of games had their prices slashed to just $29.99 for the holiday sales, but many are jumping back up the ladder already today. It reminds me of a Black Friday only a few years ago, when Ninty launched its official console bundles and they were all gone by lunchtime.
Amazon was all the way there over the weekend, but things are looking a little stiff on some titles.
Princess Peach Showtime is nowhere to be found, but still $39.99 at Best Buy ($10 more than it was yesterday). Echoes of Wisdom is seeing a similar struggle (though is still $39.99 at Best Buy).
Black Friday PS5 console deals are in
Sony launched its own official Black Friday PS5 deals just last week, with retailers across the web offering consoles as low as $399. That's not as cheap as they've been in the past, but 2025's price increases have played their hand here. Still, any discounts on PS5 consoles have been incredibly rare over the last few months, so I'll certainly take a $100 discount on the cheapest rig.
PS5 Digital | $499.99 $399 at Walmart
PS5 Disc | $549.99 $449 at Walmart
PS5 Pro | $749 $649 at Walmart
When is the right time to buy Black Friday deals?
Honestly? When the price is right and it's not been cheaper before.
That's the short answer I live by. There are no guarantees on Black Friday, gadgets could stay at the same sales prices, drop lower, or run out of stock (the latter is more common than you may think). Early deals are landing all around us right now, and more are due to land on Friday, but if you spot a price that sits within your budget on a gadget that hasn't been cheaper in the past you're onto a winner.
Will there be more deals on Friday?
Of course, we've still got four more days to wait until official Black Friday deals grace our shelves. This is the week I normally see the majority of offers landing, with some gadgets taking extra price cuts, but there will absolutely be another wave of new discounts at the end of the week as well.
This is still more of a season of deals than one big day, but if you're not seeing any prices you like so far rest assured we're expecting more offers to hit before the weekend.
This is the week!
It's been a long old countdown this year, but Black Friday deals are hitting this week. With Sony and Nintendo launching their own official discounts in the last few days, things are looking strong for both console and PC players this Thanksgiving week. However, there's still plenty of time left to go and I'm bringing you all the biggest offers as soon as I find them.
