Subnautica 2 enameled glass comes up in a number of mid to late-game recipes, so if you aren't sure how to craft it, you've come to the right place. The survival game features a wide variety of resources, some inspired by real life and others completely fabricated for this alien planet. Sometimes, that makes it difficult and confusing to keep on top of what you need.
Combine this with a small personal inventory, and things get really tricky really fast. Crafting enameled glass in Subnautica 2 requires just two resources, but their respective locations make this one of the more difficult items to obtain, so I'll try and make it easy.
How to get enameled glass in Subnautica 2
To craft enameled glass in Subnautica 2, you simply need to combine glass with Creature Enamel, which is where things get complicated.
Unfortunately, this isn't an easy resource to come by, especially in the areas most abundant with quartz, which you'll need to make glass. However, there are a few areas near where you can find Subnautica 2 Creature Enamel in which you can also find quartz. They are:
- Near the alien 'crop circles' to the south of the Alien Ruins Research Center, just below the Rosetta Stone.
- On the seabed near the Alien Power Plant and nearby Angel Combs.
By getting glass as close to the Alien Ruins area as possible, you'll find it easier to make enameled glass. However, the main tip I'd give regarding any type of glass is just to horde as much quartz as you can. Whenever you see it, fill your inventory and drop it off at your base. You'll need it more often than you might think.
To get some of this quartz, you're going to need your Subnautica 2 tadpole with a depth module installed. The irony is that recipe itself requires enameled glass, as well as celestine, so use quartz from near your lifepod or the Rosetta Stone first, then you can use your fancy upgraded vehicle to get more. You're also going to want a rebreather handy, too.
