Now that Crimson Desert's been out almost one full month, Pearl Abyss has unveiled a roadmap, of sorts, for the mammoth fantasy adventure. Between boss rematches, UI tweaks and improving what you can see on the horizon, there's a lot coming to Pywel.
Three distinct new features headline the offerings. First are those chances to take on bosses again, using them as a benchmark for your skills and abilities. Then there's going to be some re-blockading needed, just to keep the Greymanes extra busy after fans complained about enemy density in the late-game, and the ability to choose between easy, normal and hard for difficulty.
More pets and mounts are coming, to keep the cuteness factor high, and there'll be specific storage for your food, clothing, gatherables, and collections. Speaking of clothing, more outfits are on the way, and an option for hiding weapons on your back to prevent them looking a bit odd during choice moments.
The font size of the UI will become adjustable to help people customize the experience to their liking, and "certain controller inputs" will have some changeable options. The "realism" of the mountains, forests and other landscapes you can see in the distance is getting dialed up, to make catching an eyeful of the map that much better.
Pearl Abyss warns these updates "may be somewhat larger" than you'd typically expect. The studio plans to roll all of this out "gradually from April through June," though of course timings may change depending on circumstances.
