Crimson Desert: Charting the Unknown DLC out next month adds underwater areas, base building, and a giant evil robot
Mark your calendars for October 15
Crimson Desert's first DLC expansion has been revealed – it's called Charting the Unknown, and it's out next month.
Shown off during today's PlayStation State of Play, Charting the Unknown's trailer shows that Crimson Desert is still apparently aiming to include as many different game mechanics and features as possible, because base building has now been shown off.
We also see Cliff steering a boat before exploring underwater, even holding onto the back of a massive shark to travel around under the sea.
Crimson Desert: Charting the Unknown releases on October 15, 2026, so there's not long to wait for it.

I'm GamesRadar+'s Deputy News Editor, working alongside the rest of the news team to deliver cool gaming stories that we love. After spending more hours than I can count filling The University of Sheffield's student newspaper with Pokemon and indie game content, and picking up a degree in Journalism Studies, I started my career at GAMINGbible where I worked as a journalist for over a year and a half. I then became TechRadar Gaming's news writer, where I sourced stories and wrote about all sorts of intriguing topics. In my spare time, you're sure to find me on my Nintendo Switch or PS5 playing through story-driven RPGs like Xenoblade Chronicles and Persona 5 Royal, nuzlocking old Pokemon games, or going for a Victory Royale in Fortnite.
