How to power the control room in Directive 8020

It looks like whatever entity has infiltrated the Cassiopeia has got to Williams, and now you need to stealth your way around him and power the control room door in Directive 8020 to get away.

Unfortunately, while you’re busy concentrating on Williams' whereabouts and whether he’s about to turn you into a mindless host for this apparent parasite too, you might not see where it is you need to go. Reaching the control room door is one thing, but powering it requires you to retrace your steps across the room, and I guide you through it below.

How to power up the Directive 8020 control room

To power the control room door while playing as Cernan and stealthing around Williams, you need to head back to the room at the other side of the area. To get in, you must open the window hatch, which can and should be done from the control room door so you’re safe from Williams. Hold RMB or LT to zoom in on the door panel opposite the control room door and click LMB or A to trigger it.

Next, stealth your way over to the window and hit RMB or A to vault over the window ledge. Once inside, turn to your right where there’s another open window to vault through. In here, you’ll need to interact with the panel on the wall ahead of you to power the control room door.

To leave, you’ll have to use the vents as Williams has now spotted you in this room. Use the vents to get back into the next room over, then stealth your way back to the control room door as you did before, using E or X to scan for Williams' location when needed.

Now the door is open, you can make your way through with ease - but that won’t be the end of it. Just make sure you hit every QTE you're given if you want to save everyone in Directive 8020, including Cernan.
