We found out last week that EA is planning to introduce a bit of crossover content tying together two of its biggest franchises, Plant vs Zombies and The Sims. Now we have a better idea of what this partnership will look like.

Players who pre-order the latest expansion pack to the Sims 3 ("Supernatural",) will gain access to Plants vs Zombies-themed in-game outfits like cone hats, and ragged clothes, along with PvZ's famous Peashooter lawn defense turret "to keep your house secure from things that go bump in the night."

Furthermore, if you pre-order from Origin (EA's online store), you'll get a bunch of other in-game items, including:

-Eerie plantern lamp – Lighten up your Sim’s homes or gardens with this item that keeps the fog at bay.
-Bug-eyed wall-nut sculptures – Get a few extra eyes on your Sims.
-Iconic zombie gnomes – Give your garden extra flair.
-Brain flag sculpture – Used to lead the charge in Plants vs. Zombies.

So if you're planning to pick up the Sims 3: Supernatural anyway, then pre-ordering might be a solid idea. And if you're not planning to try this out then you might want to take a look at some of the screens EA sent over. There's some seriously crazy stuff going on in Simville these days. Like a werewolf eating a whole fish. Don't keep whole fish around the house, kids.
