PS3 and Wii line-up boosted

[Multi] Next-gen Tony Hawk and Call of Duty revealed as launch games

Wednesday 10 May 2006
When Wii hits the shops at the end of the year, it'll play host to next-gen versions of both Tony Hawk's and Call of Duty, according to publisher Activision.

Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam and Call of Duty 3 are set for release in autumn, and will feature in the launch line-up for Nintendo's newly rechristened console. However, despite hitting several current and next-gen systems, Call of Duty 3 won't be striking a beachhead on PC.

This info was beamed to our eyes at Activision's pre-E3 conference, where the publisher also confirmed Call of Duty 3 and a different next-gen Tony Hawk, Tony Hawk's Project 8, as PlayStation 3 launch games.
