Get comfy, these are the 12 cozy games you need to hit ultimate zen this weekend
From Pokopia to Powerwashing
The Nintendo Switch 2 is firmly in its cozy era, with Pokemon Pokopia and Tomodachi Life taking over the eShop. Two adorably cosy releases in a row is almost too relaxing, but there's plenty more where that came from. Whether it's Ninty's calm, light-hearted, family friendly traditions or the device's convenient, low-effort handheld form factor, there's something about plugging into one of the most relaxing games that hits different on the Switch.
Thankfully, there's no shortage of cozy titles on the system. From satisfying puzzlers like A Little to the Left to low-stakes exploration and adventure in Rune Factory, the Nintendo Switch family has a bunch of different cosy flavors to choose from.
I've compiled my favorites here. Of course, we've got the classics, your Stardew Valley, your Animal Crossing, your Pokopia, but amongst those stalwarts I hope you find something fresh for your collection.

Managing Editor of Hardware at GamesRadar+, I originally landed in hardware at our sister site TechRadar before moving over to GamesRadar. In between, I've written for Tom’s Guide, Wireframe, The Indie Game Website and That Video Game Blog, covering everything from the PS5 launch to the Apple Pencil. Now, i'm focused on Nintendo Switch, gaming laptops (and the keyboards, headsets and mice that come with them), PS5, and trying to find the perfect projector.
