17. For Better or Worse
6 Treasures, 2 Journal Entries, 2 Journal Notes, 6 Optional Conversations
Optional Conversation
After boosting Elena up the ladder, head along the path then talk to her.
Mughal Flared Vase
At the point where the first conversation triggers, look on the ledge to your left to find this treasure.
Optional Conversation
Now carry on upstream, then talk to Elena again when you get out of the water.
Mughal Hinged Box
After riding up the elevator and shooting the enemies while hanging, head forwards and drop down by the broken steps to find this treasure on a crate below.
Optional Conversations
Now climb back up and speak to Elena near the elevator structure. There are two conversations here so make sure you get them both.
Journal Entry
When you arrive at the lift contraption in the jeep, get out and look at the unconnected gears on the waterwheel.
Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and more
Jade Serving Bowl
After Elena pulls down the pillar using the jeep, climb into the newly accessible area then go through the doorway on the left and grab the treasure on a crate.
Ancient Stone Bowl
When Elena drives the jeep out of the lift, go past her and to the far end of the cliff edge then check on the crate.
Journal Note
After jumping the bridge in the jeep and approaching the next waterwheel, look for a short ladder on the right which leads to an abandoned house with the note inside.
Pewter Incense Burner
Now hop out of the rear window to find this treasure behind the house.
18th Century Combination Lock
After you reach the waterwheel, go around the back of the attached building and climb inside to find this treasure by the wheel.
Note: Make sure you have the previous collectibles before interacting with the lift or you'll need to restart the chapter.
Optional Conversations
As you ride up the lift, two conversations with Elena are available - make sure you trigger them both before reaching the top.
Journal Entry
After swinging out of the jeep, follow the ledge around to the right before climbing the handholds to make a journal entry about the bridge.
Journal Note
Depending on your route ahead, you'll either crawl through a short tunnel or jump on top of a small rock outcrop, with another rock outcrop upstream by the side of the water. Climb up or jump over to it and check the satchel by the skeleton.

Iain originally joined Future in 2012 to write guides for CVG, PSM3, and Xbox World, before moving on to join GamesRadar in 2013 as Guides Editor. His words have also appeared in OPM, OXM, PC Gamer, GamesMaster, and SFX. He is better known to many as ‘Mr Trophy’, due to his slightly unhealthy obsession with amassing intangible PlayStation silverware, and he now has well over 900 Platinum pots weighing down the shelves of his virtual award cabinet. He does not care for Xbox Achievements.
