Prime Day TV deals are still running for October's Big Deal Days event, and bizarrely, a few of the best models have gotten even cheaper in the last couple of hours. With the clock now ticking towards the end of the second Prime Exclusive deals event of the year, there's no time to lose. We've seen a few TVs drop below their prices from yesterday, but from now til the event's end is usually when we see things go out of stock. While Black Friday will probably give us a better range of discounted models and deeper price cuts, this might be a fantastic chance to get a gaming display for cheaper.
Like every year, TV tech continues to get better and better. In 2023 we've already seen LG's G3 with its MLA OLED Evo display, which has escalated the brand's already stellar lineage of great gaming TVs further than we thought it could. Not only that, we've seen Sony's XR-75X95K, which has brought another Mini LED into contention, and all the while, Samsung has its excellent quantum dot technology the rest have to contend with. While it's more likely that we'll see the biggest discounts and best deals on models from 2022 models, we wouldn't exactly be surprised if some of the latest screens from 2023 get some of their first price cuts during Prime Day gaming deals or Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Of course, there's loads of value to be had in less-expensive brands like Hisense, which can frequently be found in the discount aisles. if you're looking for a smaller upgrade, there will most likely be loads of deals on HDMI cables, Fire TV sticks, and other TV accessories. No matter what make or model you're shopping for, some of the best gaming TVs, and the best TVs for PS5 or Xbox Series X are now a bit more affordable for October's Prime Day.

Prime Day TV deals FAQs
When will October Prime Day TV deals end?
Prime Day TV deals are running as a part of Amazon's October Big Deal Days event. This sale will run from October 10-11, 2023 - so offers will likely end at midnight tonight. A few deals that are running aren't Prime Exclusive ones, which means they might run after the event ends officially, but we wouldn't bet on that happening.
Do I need a Prime subscription to access Prime deals
Yes, you'll need an active Prime subscription to access Amazon's members-only sale. If you've not got one, you can always sign up for a 30-day free trial, which will grant you a ticket to the big event and provide you with free next-day delivery. Some TV deals aren't Prime-exclusive ones, but it's better to be safe and give yourself the widest range of deals to choose from.
What to expect from October's Prime Day TV deals
While I'd still put money on Black Friday and Cyber Monday hosting the best TV deals of the year, October's Prime Day event could be a good time to get a great TV for a little extra cash. We usually see plenty of budget brand models get discounted for events like these, so expect offers from Hisense and TCL. Most of all though, expect to see plenty of deals on Amazon's own Fire TVs - I very much expect these to lead the charge. For Prime Day in July, these were almost all limited-time, Prime-exclusive deals, but you do get some decent features for the money.
When it comes to the big players, we always expect some to go on sale for events like these. We could get lucky, and we could see the LG OLED C2 and the Samsung S95B OLED go on sale in October and for Black Friday - but I wouldn't count on it.
In all honesty, my advice would be to peruse the deals we'll find for you on Prime Day in October, but unless you see something your heart is totally set on, or you need something sooner than November, we'd probably wait for Black Friday sales instead. The discounts at this time of year are always better than any other time of the year, and there will be a much, much wider selection on offer.
If we get the likes of the C2 or the S95B (2022's best TVs of the year) at similar prices to Summer's Prime Day - feel free to jump on them - you don't want to run the risk of stock shortages hitting during Black Friday or Cyber Monday. Just keep in mind if that isn't an issue, better deal prices will probably come from November.
However, if by some miracle you see the LG OLED C1, which is beginning to get harder to find, and it's discounted to its previous lowest-ever price, it's worth buying, because beyond this point it'll be harder to get your hands on.
We'll also be keeping our eyes on Woot - since the store had pretty decent deals on premium screens in July. Particularly if you're looking for a larger panel or an 8K screen, Woot might be the retailer for you.
Don't forget the likes of the best QLED TVs, the best OLED TVs, and the best 120 Hz 4K TVs will also be discounted this summer if you're looking for a specialist TV.
